environmental - e.g. decreased biodiversity

what are some different person characteristics and behaviours?
- a shy or anxious person
- an aggressive person
- a risk taker
what are ideological influences?
neoliberal - associated with evils of capitalism e.g. accumulating wealth allows for better access to health care - valued for individual choice
social justice - associated with the evils of socialism e.g. why should I pay taxes for a smokers hospital bill - valued for promoting health for entire population
what are lifestyle drifts?
it efers to the tendency to focus on lifestyle faactors even when social determinantes have been identified:
- existing ideologieis, pressure from vested interets, resistance to social change.
what are the 4 representations of childhood shaping policy
- the economic child (child as consumers)
- developing beings (developmental psychology)
- children as citizens (children’s rights)
- global child perspective (chilren facing war, famine etc)

- non discriination
- the best interests of the child
