d) Things that happened (no impacts on the present):
* Maria lost her keys. (maybe she found them later)
* He searched for a new job.
Present Perfect
Link past with future
a) Unfinished actions:
* I’ve seen a dog on the street every day since we moved here.
* I’ve known Mary for many years.
b) Indefinite time (already / yet):
* I have [already] been to New York.
* Have you not spoken to her yet?
c) Unfinished time words (this week / month / year):
* I have eaten three whole pizzas this week.
d) Things that happened but do an effect on the present:
* Maria has lost her keys. (she didn’t found them and maybe need them now)
* He has searched for a new job.
