What is interfaith dialogue?
discussions between people of different faiths and people of no faith, like atheists.
Trying to find a common ground and working together on key issues like caring for the planet.
What are interfaith organisations?
Give people of different beliefs the chance to get together. Set up discussions forums, visit schools to take lessons and invite different faith communities to share in each other’s festivals.
What did Pope Francis say?
sends a clear message out to the world that all people are called to serve others and they should follow the teaching of Jesus to “love your neighbour”.
This means Catholics should help everyone, no matter their faith as we are all made imago dei.
What does interfaith dialogue ensure?
Tries to ensure that people can practice their faith safely in society, where their beliefs and traditions are respected.

how does this change a catholics life?
Catholics will take time to build good relationships with other religions such as remembering how important events for faiths such as Holocaust Memorial Day to show respect to the Jewish religion.
Catholics will try to work for the common good and volunteer at interfaith organisations which promote different faiths learning about each other to bring peace.
