Basal Cell Carcinoma
Most common malignant tumor affects whites
Symptoms: waxy bump/
Treatment: surgery/ medications /avoidance of sun exposure
Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Proliferation of atypical transformed keratinocytes in the skin w/ malignant behaviour
Symptoms:Tumours that grow over time, sometimes rapidly
Treatment: avoidance of sun exposure
Melanoma
when a melanocyte (skin cell) undergoes malignant transformation, unregulated skin cell growth (not killed by apoptosis or immune system like they should be)
Symptoms: exposure to sunlight– blistering sun burns
Treatment: surgery
Eczema
Inflammatory, painful itching disease of the skin, acute or chronic in nature, presenting many forms of dry or moist lesions.

Acne
Inflammatory disorder of the sebaceous glands Face, chest back and upper arms
Symptoms: Whiteheads, blackhead, or pimples
Treatment: reducing oil production, speeding up skin cell turnover, fighting bacterial infection or reducing inflammation -
1st Degree Skin Burn
Epidermal damage, redness, and some pain
Treatment: Cool the burn
2nd Degree Skin Burn
Epidermal and some dermal damage, pain, regelation is possible
Treatment: Cool water
3rd Degree Skin Burn
Full thickness burn, epidermal and dermal layers destroyed, skin is blanched
Treatment: Antibiotics, Debridement
4th Degree Skin Burn
The deepest and most severe of burns.
Treatment: Surgery or grafting
Stretch marks
when skin is overstretched, collagen fibers may tear to form stretch marks
Treatment: laser therapies and microneedling

a hard, thickened area of skin that develops usually from friction or irritation over time. Such a hardened area often leaves one less sensitive to the touch,
