Malanosomes are lysosome like organelles, these actually produce the melonin. Made of the products involved in the production of malanin are toxic so they have to be stored in lysosome like parcels.
Malanosomes are made by the malaocytes but spread throughout the keratinocytes
Where are malanosome found in the basal cells?
As a sun hat on top of the nucleus
