How to insert blank cells?

A

Select the range of cells where you want to insert the blank cells(which should be the same no. as you want to insert) and right-click on the range and select the insert option. You will get the Insert dialog box, where you click on the desired option and click OK.

A

Select the column or cell to the left of where the new column is to be inserted and click on the drop-down arrow of the Insert button in the Cells group on the Home tab and choose the Insert Sheet Columns option.
