Copying refers to duplicating dat, like formulae, text or numbers either in the same worksheet or in another worksheet.
What does moving refer to?
Moving refers to the changing the position of data either in the same worksheet or in another worksheet.
Where is the moved or copied data temporarily stored?
The moved or copied data is temporarily stored in a location in computer memory called Clipboard.
How to copy and paste data?
Select the cell or range of cells you want to copy and click on the Copy button in the Clipboard group. The dashed line will appear around the selected cells. Select the destination cell and click on the Paste button in the Clipboard group.
What to do if you want to paste the same data repeatedly?
If you want to paste the same data repeatedly, click on the Paste button in different cells.
How to remove the border around the selected cells after you finish copying?
To remove the border around the selected cells after you finish copying, press the Esc key.
How to move data around using the drag and drop method?
Select a cell or range of cells and position the mouse pointer at the edge of the selected cells, which has changed from a white cross symbol to a move pointer symbol. Drag the cell or range of cells to a new destination and release the mouse.

Right-click on the cell and chose the Cut command and choose the destination cell and, right-click on it and select the Paste option
