Deleting cells, columns and rows

How to delete cells?

Select the range of cells to be deleted and on the home tab, click on the drop-down arrow of the Delete button and select the Delete Cells option. In the Delete dialog box, choose the option you desire.

Select the column to be deleted by clicking on its header. Then right-click on the header and choose the Delete option.

Select the column to be deleted by clicking on the row header. Then right-click on the row header and choose the Delete option.
