Q
flu life cycle
A
- airborne droplets carry the viral particles in the air and can enter the respiratory tract during breathing
- the virus attaches to the host cel using proteins
- the cell then engulfs the virus by endocytosis
- using the hosts cellular metabolism the viral rna begins to replicate and form proteins
- then fully formed viruses assemble
- these viruses then bud out of the cell and spread to other cells to continue the cycle via exocytosis
