Dx?
Rash on face and hands that spreads to trunk and limbs.

Dx?
Cough, coryza, conjunctivitis.
Kopliks spots.
Rash on head first and spreads down.
Rubeola (Measles)
Dx? Leading cause of infertility in women. Get lymphgranuloma venereum: vesicular lesions spreading to nodes. Urethritis, cervicitis. Tx?
Chlamydia, women usu asymp
Tx with azithroymycin one dose, Doxy
Dx?
MCC of septic arthritis in young people.
Cause of PID, infertility; milky penile d/c. Can get copious d/c with conjunctivitis.

What is the treatment for Gonorrhea?
Gram neg diplococcus
Ceftriaxone. Patient should be concomitantly treated for Chlamydia: azithromycin or doxycycline.
What disease has these symptoms:
Polyarthritis, carditis, erythema marginatum, chorea, subq nodules.
Major criteria of Rheumatic Fever.
What is the treatment for Epiglottitis?
IV ceftriaxone
What is the tx for Pertussis?
Macrolide: Azithromycin
What is the first line treatment for Rheumatic Fever?
Asa(salicylate) or naproxen.
What is the treatment for diphtheria?
Erythromycin and penicillin.
Name this STD: migratory arthritis, septic arthritis of knee, milky d/c from penis.
N. Gonorrhoeae.
What is the diagnosis for AIDS with HIV infection?
CD4 count below 200 cells/microL
