what is the treatment of gastro-enteritis
oral rehydration with salt/sugar solution
IV saline
descibe features of salmonella infection
usually <48 hours after
antibiotic treatment

incubation up to 7 days

severe abdo/colic pain

toxin can cause hemolytic-uraemic (HUS) syndrome
