Q

What can clear ice do?

A
  • Change the shape of wing leading to reduction in lift
  • Increase weight of aircraft resulting in higher stall speed
  • Block pilot’s view

Q

What are the requirements for ice to form?

A
  • Aircraft must be flying through visible water in form of rain or cloud droplets
