Hypo is more susceptible to
infection
Intolerance to cold

Myxedema coma is characterized by
i. Impaired consciousness
ii. Subnormal temperature (94-95 range), hypotension, hypoventilation
iii. Cardiovascular collapse
iv. Treated with IV thyroid hormone
