2. SHALL NOT taxi until MX Control clears aircraft safe for flight
3. Crew SHALL NOT hotseat while refueling hose is attached to aircraft or inside the rotor arc
4. Personnel SHALL NOT proceed aft of the CMDS unless de-arming/arming
SHALL:
1. Aircrewman SHALL assist with monitoring refueling operations
2. SHALL begin with Step 9 of the post-engagement checklist
3. SHALL do a HAC to HAC verbal turnover
4. SHALL check for exceedances after every sortie
Air Taxi
Aircraft SHALL ground taxi to the greatest extent possible whenever the possibility of damage from rotor wash exist
Use of Seat Belts
seat and gunner’s belts SHALL be utilized per reference A to the max extent possible. All occupants SHOULD be in crashworthy seats with seat and shoulder harness secured during take-offs and landings
Detachment concurrent aircraft operations
-when does the 50 nm alternate landing apply
-when does it NOT apply
detachments operating on single-spot ships with two embarked helicopters utilizing the RSD SHALL NOT conduct concurrent flight ops UNLESS an emergency landing site (ship or shore) available within 50 nm for the duration of the evolution
-Applies when parent ship is the intended point of landing for both aircraft. Or if it’s a man/unmanned flight operation.
-Does NOT apply for fly-ons for scheduled embarkation
You want to take pictures in the aircraft? Who authorizes it
