- basic needs have been ignored which has lead to increased rates of selling daughters
- limited sanitation, health care and education
- Afghan aid has transformed lives of local communities
- increased freedom and local democratic practices, increases election committee

A
- working with government and funding from Japan to develop neighbourhoods
- denial of basic human rights and rapid urban growth has lead to deprivation in local communities ( in services e.g healthcare)
- encouraging women to work
- many of the community development council plan to upgrade housing, infrastructure, sanitation and schools
