How do you assist a client to sit in a chair?

A
  1. Ask the client to start with their back to the chair, slowly moving backwards until they are standing centered in front of the chair and can feel the chair seat on the back of their legs.
  2. Stand on the clients affected side and ask them to reach behind and place their non-affected hand on chair arm.
  3. Ask the client to slowly east into the chair β€œon the count of three.”

What do you do after the client sits down in the chair?

  1. Ensure the client is in the proper body alignment and check their position.
  2. Remove your gloves and wash your hands
