Investigation in to the processes of building safety surrounding Grenfell disaster. Made recommendations to go in to the new Safety Bill such as: - No clear regulator - Confusing roles and responsibilities - Lack of specific people responsible for certain areas - Lack of consultation/ consideration of occupiers - Information loss between project stages

What is PI?
It is an Insurance policy, which covers the insured party alleged claims made against them for negligence, inadequate advice or service they provided from financial loss.
What is the fire safety act 2021?
Bill first introduced in March 2020 and amends the regulatory reform order 2005
Clarify who is responsible for managing and reducing fire risks in different parts of multi-occupied residential buildings, to prevent future tragedies occurring.
- The Act provides clarification who is accountable for reducing the risk of fires.
- The Act also adds that the external walls of a building as well as the fire doors to individual flats to be included to fire risk assessment
- It is hoped that these two will allow the fire service to take greater enforcement action
