Thought to be the superior race according to Hitler. Not allowed to intermarry with inferior races
Aryan
Cyanide based gas used by Nazi’s in the gas chambers to murder Jews
Zyklon B
Austrian Jewish engineer who became a Nazi hunter after surviving the holocaust
Simon Wiesenthal
Organized the identification and transportation of people to concentration camps. Referred to as the chief executioner of the third Reich
Adolf Eichmanan
Restricted rights for Jews. Took away citizenship and many civil rights
Nuremberg laws
Dictated terms to Germany after WWI. Required Germany to disarm and take blame for the war
Treaty of Versailles
Complete name of the party is National Socialist German Worker’s Party
Nazi
Known as The Night of Broken Glass. 20,000 Jews were arrested and 267 synagogues were burned on November 9-10, 1938
Kristallnacht
Term coined in 1942 to eliminate Jews
Final Solution
Powerful term that means “The Leader”. Titles of German leader after merging of the offices of president and chancellor
Fuhrer
Went into hiding in 1942 in the Netherlands to avoid the Nazi’s. Brought to Bergen Belsen where she died in 1945
Anne Frank
Elite German unit that rounded up Jews and ran concentration camps. Personally protected Hitler
