Where is the pain mostly found?
over the groin and anterior portion of the hip
Where can osteoarthritis in the HIP also refer pain to?
buttock, inner thigh or knee
How is everything with movement?
worse with walking - toothache like pain
What movement goes first?
internal rotation, and or internal rotation with pain
Overall how would one describe the pain?
Sharp at times with residual soreness post activity
Special Tests for Osteoarthritis
FABER
Hip Internal Rotation

With the PT supine, place the patient’s test leg so that the foot rests above the knee of the opposite leg. Slowly lower the knee to the table. A normal hip would allow the knee to fall to the side nearly parallel to the table. Additional pressure can be placed over the knee and opposite ASIS further stressing the hip joint.

What IZones are to be treated - which one in particular?
All Glutes min, med, max BUT esp. MINIMUS
Tui Na is used on what Muscle?
Psoas
Where do you find ST31?
In a depression just lateral to the sartorius muscle, at the junction of a vertical line drawn downward from the anterior superior iliac spine, and a horizontal line with eh lower border of the pubic symphysis.
Always keep a finger over the femoral pulse with this Point
