What is Herd Immunity?
A
Herd Immunity is when at least 90% of the population have immunity to a pathogen though vaccination.

Does herd immunity protect the population?
A
Yes as its unlikely that anyone in the population will get the disease as they are unlikely to find anyone who already has it. It is especially important for those who can not be vaccinated due to health issues.
