- unconsciousness
- fixed / dilated pupils
- rigid tenderness
- absence of shivering

generalized Hypothermia
A
- shivering
- clumsy , confused , forgetful
- may appear intoxicated
- poor judgement
- LOC decreased.

Local Cold Emergencies
A
pt. will complain of loss of sensation
- frostbite may appear waxy
- skin becomes mottled, blotchy, blistered, cyanotic
