- pain can radiate to the jaw, neck, L shoulder, Larm , L hand

- nausea , Vomiting
- pale , cool , moist skin
-anxiety - denial
Acute Myocardial Infarction
a sudden death of the heart muscles

-sudden shock
- shock
- congestive heart failure
- cardiac dysrhythmias
signs and symptoms of Acute Myocardial Infarction
-profuse sweating
- pain not related to physical excursion
- abnormal pulse higher than 100 or slow ( 60) or irregular
- difficulty breathing
- cool , pale , moist skin , cyanosis
- light headedness
- impending doom
coronary artery disease
the coronary artery is narrowed which restricts the amount of blood that can reach and nourish the heart

- indigestion , nausea, vomiting
- pale , grey , cyanotic
- feeling of impending doom

when blood is forced the wrong way out of the heart

- shock
distended neck veins
coughing / vomiting
bloodshot protruding eyes
cyanotic tongue/ lips
swollen appearance
myocardial Contusion
- generalized chest pain
- obvious bruising of chest wall
- rapid , shortness, irregular pulse
cardiac tamponade
blood fills the space in between the lungs and heart causing the heart to not be able to fill up.
