Onset of systole on closure of the mitral and tricuspid valves. Loudest heart sound. Heard best at left apex.

A

End of systole on closure of aortic and pulmonic valves. Heard best at left heart base.

A

Passive ventricular filling, blood flows from atria to ventricles. SHOULD NOT BE HEARD IN SA or it’s a gallop rhythm.
