Describe the cardiac cycle.
A
The left ventricle fills with blood. LV cardiac muscle contracts. Decreased volume, increased pressure. Blood moves to the aorta. Aorta to rest of body Vena cava to RA RA to RV RV to pulmonary artery. Pulmonary vein to LA
