How do you undertake a risk assessment?

A

5 step approach:

  1. Identify hazards
  2. Identify people at risk
  3. Evaluate the risk and assess if it can be mitigated.
  4. If cannot be mitigated how can the risks be reduced (PPE, not inspecting etc.)
  5. Record findings and inform those affected
