What is cardiovascular fitness
The ability to exercise your whole body for long periods of time
What is cardiovascular fitness biologically?
The efficiency of the cardo vascular system (heart, lungs, blood and blood vessels) in getting oxygen to the muscles, so that the muscles can keep working for a long time
What is muscular strength?
The amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance?
What sport is cardiovascular fitness used for?
Long distance events such as marathon, triathlon etc.
What sports is muscular strength needed for?
Vital in any sport that involves the exertion of great force
What is muscular endurance?
The ability to use involuntary muscles repeatedly without getting tired
What is flexibility?
The range of motion possible at a joint or a series of joints
What is body composition?
The percentage of the body that is muscle fat or bone

Endomorph (high fat and large waist)
Mesomorph (muscular, broad shoulders, narrow hips)
Ectomorph (narrow hips and shoulders, tall, slim)
