Large red blood cells = Insufficient number and haemoglobin content
What are the 2 types of Macrocytic Anaemia?
Megaloblastic = DNA synthesis in marrow (B12/Folate)
Non-Megaloblastic = Peripheral problems (alcohol)
What can cause B12 or Folate deficiency?
Pernicious Anaemia, Diet, Coeliac, Crohn’s
