Which lymphomas are CD19 and CD20 positive?
DLBCL
Which lymphoma is CD30 positive?
Hodgkin’s disease (the classical type)
Note of interest the popcorn cells of nodular lymphocyte predominant HD expresses CD19 and 20 - like DLBCL!
If a patient with stage 1 or 2 HD has unfavourable risk factors, how does that alter management?
Favourable get 2 x AVBD and 20 Gy DXT
Unfavourable 4x AVBD and 30 Gy DXT
Two haem malignancies with EBV involved?
BURKITT lymphoma
Some T cell lymphomas
A patient with advanced HODGKINS is admitted, which scoring system tells you their prognosis?
What is advanced HD anyway?
Advanced HD is bulky stage 2B IPS Score has 7 items, three are patient rel, 4 are bloods Age >= 45 Male Stage 4 Hb = 15 Lymphocyte count
In which type of lymphoma has maintenance rituximab? What is the benefit?
Follicular lymphoma Increases PFS (but not OS)
What is the issue with giving maintenance rituximab in follicular lymphoma?
Bronchiectasis risk, low IgG levels
Need to balance benefits and risk- Inc PFS but not OS after all
What is the management of primary CNS lymphoma?
High dose MTX
Is very rare so must refer to a specialist centre
NO Role for RCHOP
