H:
Index and middle finger=extended and against each other.
Thumb, ring finger, and pinky=curled.
Habit:
Dominant hand and non-dominant hand:
Index-pinky=curled.
Thumb=curled over the index-pinky fingers.
Orientation: The back of the non-dominant hand is up. The dominant hand’s wrist touches the skin between the index finger and thumb of the non-dominant hand. Then move both hands downwards in the same formation.
Notes: It also means “tradition”.

Dominant hand: Index finger=extended. Thumb-middle-pinky=curled. Non-dominant hand: B handshape. Orientation: Place the curled fingers of the dominant hand against the palm of the non-dominant hand. Then turn the dominant hand down so that the index finger is pointing downwards.
Halloween:

Orientation: Have both palms face you and the fingers pointing upwards. Have both palms above your face. Then move both hands to the side.
Notes: Another version is to do the same thing with the H handshape.
Hallway:
Dominant hand and non-dominant hand:

Orientation: Have both hands turned to the side with the fingers pointing upwards. There should be some space between the hands. Then move both hands forward and away from you.
Notes: I think the hands are up for this one because walls on both sides define a hallway.

Hamburger:
Dominant hand and non-dominant hand:
Thumb-pinky=slightly curled.
Orientation= Have the dominant hand clasp over the non-dominant hand. Then switch so that the non-dominant hand is over the dominant hand.
Hammer:
Dominant hand:
S handshape.
Non-dominant hand: nothing.
Orientation: Have the hand turned to the side (the fingers would be pointing outwards if they were extended). Move the hand up and down twice.
Handle:
Dominant hand and non-dominant hand:
Index finger=slightly curled.
Thumb, middle-pinky=curled.
Orientation: Have both hands turned to the side (so that the fingers would be pointing outward if they were fully extended). Then move both hands outwards and back towards you asynchronously.
Notes: It also means to “control”, “run”, “operate”, “tolerate”, or “manage” something.

Orientation: Have the palms of both hands face you with the fingers pointing upward. Have the non-dominant hand farther out than the dominant hand. Spin both hands in circles (the circles should overlap, but the hands should not touch).
Notes: If you are talking about a specific hand, you point to that hand after the sign.

Dominant hand: A handshape. Non-dominant hand: B handshape. Orientation: Have the non-dominant hand turned to the side with the fingers pointing upwards. Trace the outline of the non-dominant hand using the dominant hand.

Orientation: Have the back of the hands face you or the palm face you (both are valid versions). Then pull the hands away from each other in a downward arc motion.
Happen:

Orientation: Have the index fingers facing outwards with both hands palm up. Then turn the hands over so that the back of the hands is up.
Notes: With furrowed eyebrows, this can mean “What happened?”. This sign can mean the English equivalent of “and then”. It also means “occur”.

Notes: To say “hate him/her”, you move the flick to your dominant side. To say, “hate me”, you aim the flick towards yourself.

Non-dominant hand: Can be used or not. If used, in the same position as the dominant hand.

Notes: You can do this with one finger (so sign “face”) to mean Hawaii.

Orientation: Have the tips of the fingers touch the forehead. Then move the hand downward and have the fingers underneath the chin.
Headache:

Index finger=extended.
Thumb, middle-pinky=curled.
Orientation: Have both hands turned to the side at the side of your head with the index finger pointing to the side. Move both hands closer to each other or twist both hands back and forth.
Head cold:
Dominant hand: Index finger=slightly curled. Middle-pinky=curled. Thumb=extended. Non-dominant hand: nothing. Orientation: Place your nose between the index finger and the thumb. Then move the hand down the nose twice.
Headlights:
Version 1:
Dominant hand and non-dominant hand:
Thumb-pinky=extended with the fingers separated.
Orientation: Have the hands above the side of your head. Rotate the wrist so that the hands move in a circle. As they move in a circle, put the fingers together, and move them down so that they touch the tip of the thumb. Then re-extend and separate the fingers.
Notes: Can also make the same motion (without the circle) but with the fingers pointing towards the other person or the hands facing each other in the middle of the chest. It also means “microwave” and “ambulance”.
Version 2:
“Car” + “bright”.
Headset:
Dominant hand: Thumb=extended. Index finger=slightly curled. Middle-pinky=curled. Non-dominant hand: nothing. Orientation: Place the tip of the thumb against your cheek. The index finger would be pointing upwards if it was extended. Then move the index finger in front of your mouth where a headset would go.
Heal:
Dominant hand and non-dominant hand:
Thumb-pinky=extended and separated.
Orientation: Have the hands at the sides of your chest with the palms facing you. Then curl your hands into a fist and puff up your chest.
Notes: It also means “brave”, “courage”, “cure”, “healthy”, “recover”, and “strong”.

Orientation: Have the hands at the sides of your chest with the palms facing you. Then curl your hands into a fist and puff up your chest.

Dominant hand: Index finger=slightly curled. Thumb, middle-pinky=curled. Non-dominant hand: nothing. Orientation: Place the side of the index finger against your head by your ear. The index finger should be going around the pinna of the ear.
Heat:

Non-dominant hand: nothing.
Orientation: Have the hand above your nose and mouth with the palm facing you. Then quickly take the hand away and turn it so that the back of the hand faces you.
Notes: It also means “hot”.

Orientation: Have the back of both hands up with the non-dominant hand over the dominant hand. Have both hands above the head. Then move the dominant hand out from under the non-dominant hand so that it sticks out. Then move the dominant hand back so that the dominant hand’s fingers are pointing to the side. The fingertips of the dominant hand and non-dominant hand touch. Then move both away from each other and move to the side.
Heavy:
Dominant hand and non-dominant hand:
Relaxed with the fingers slightly curled and separated.
Orientation: Have both palms up. Drag the hands down like they are weighed down by something heavy.
