Posterior tubercle of C1

Medial inferior nuchal line of occipital bone
What is the action of the rectus capitis posterior minor?
Extends head
What innervates the rectus capitis posterior minor (NOTE: same as rectus capitis posterior major)?
Suboccipital n. (posterior ramus C1)
What is the medial attachment of the obliquus capitis superior (NOTE: a TP)?
TP of C1 (inferior attachment)
What is the lateral attachment of the obliquus capitis superior?
Between lateral aspect of superior and inferior nuchal lines of occipital bone (superior attachment)
What is the action of the obliquus capitis superior (NOTE: same as rectus capitis posterior minor)?
Extends head
What innervates the obliquus capitis superior (NOTE: same as the previous 2 muscles)?
Suboccipital n. (posterior ramus of C1)
What is the medial attachment of the obliquus capitis inferior (NOTE: same as rectus capitis posterior major)?
SP of C2

TP of C1

Rotate face to same side
