List the 3 lateral (distal) attachments (insertions) of the trapezius.
1) Lateral 1/3 of the clavicle
2) Acromion of scapula
3) Spine of scapula
List the 4 actions of the trapezius (HINT: it does MANY scapula actions).
1) Rotates scapula to tilt the glenoid process superiorly
2) Elevates the superior part of the scapula
3) Retracts the middle part of the scapula
4) Depresses the inferior part of the scapula

Motor: cranial nerve (CN) XI
Proprioception: anterior rami of C3 & C4 (via cervical plexus)

Floor of the intertubercular sulcus of the humerus
List the 3 actions of the latissimus dorsi (HINT: humerus).
1) Extends humerus
2) Adducts humerus

Name the nerve that innervates the latissimus dorsi.
Thoracodorsal AKA the middle subscapular nerve
List the medial attachments of the levator scapulae (HINT: it is a range of TPs).
Transverse processes (TP) C1-C4
Name the lateral attachment of the levator scapulae.
Superior part of the medial border of the scapula
List the 2 actions of the levator scapulae.
Elevate AND rotate the scapula to tilt the glenoid cavity inferiorly
Name the nerve that innervates the levator scapulae.
Dorsal scapular nerve
