hyperuricemia >6.8 mg/dL and symptomatic

Indomethacin, Naproxen, Sulindac
-Ibuprofen is used but does not have FDA approval

What is the dosing of Colchicine for acute gout attack?
A
Day 1: 1.2 PO once, then 0.6 mg 1 hr later
Days 2+: 0.6 mg BID
*has to be renally adjusted
