A- extend thigh, lat rot, abduct thigh
Gluteus medius- O, I, IN, A
O- Iliac wing, bw ant and post gluteal lines
I- Greater trochanter (lat)
IN- Sup gluteal n (l4,L5,S1)
A- abduct thigh, medially rotate + flex thigh (ant), lat roate + flex thigh (post), maintain upright post
Gluteus minimus- O, I, IN, A
O- iliac wing, bw ant and inf gluteal lines
I- greater trochanter (ant)

O- inner aspect of obturator membrane, hip bone, tendoneus arch of obturator canal

IN- n to obturator internus, sup gemellus (l5, S1,s2)
A-externally rotate + extend thigh, abduct flexed thigh, steady femoral head

O- dorsal ishial spine
