Q

What has been done about environmental issues?

A

There were concerns about human effects on environment during industrialisation in the 19th century. IN the 20th century pollution was recognised along with its threat to health. SDGs were introduced by the UN in 2015, following the MDGs that were implemented in 2000 as these issues were beginning to be taken a lot more seriously in the 21st century.
