Acute onset unilateral headache, Jaw claudication, Scalp Tenderness, Visual disturbances

Pathogenesis

A

Inflammation of medium and large sized blood vessels supplying the head and neck.
Including:
Maxillary Artery (Jaw claudication, Tongue discomfort)
Temporal Artery (Scalp Tenderness, Headache)
Central Retinal/ Ophthalmic Artery (Amaurosis Fugax)

60-100mg Prednisolone PO (3wks)
