CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI)
Mechanism of Action
Irreversibly inhibits gastric parietal cell H+-K+-ATPase, thereby inhibiting gastric acid secretion

ADVERSE EFFECTS
Common: headache, constipation or diarrhea, xerostomia, flatulence
