NSAID use
- COX inhibitor => decrease in PGE2 which is gastroprotective
- increases risk of gastric irritation and GERD
Spicy food and antacids
Central epigastric burning pain after eating
May radiate to throat

Cholecystitis, characterised by burning pain exacerbated by food
