Heterozygous

Homozygous
Refers to zygosity of an allele pair. In homozygous alleles, this means they are the same. They can be either dominant or recessive, meaning both alleles describe a recessive or dominant gene. Written as two capital or two lowercase letters

an allele is a variance in the same spot on a segement, which refers to a change in gene experession.

A gene refers to a segment of DNA that can express a specific function within the body. Genes can transfer traits and can mutate, allowing for evolution
