Demonstrative words can be used on their own and understood to indicate a particular noun based on context => I drink from this glass. Are you drinking from this?

When a possessive adjective [my] is used as a possessive pronoun [replacing the noun]: the masculine nominative subject adds -er (and the neuter SN + DO add -s). Everything else stays the same.
Adjectives explained:
The adjective needs to carry the marker for case and gender if the preceding word does not.
Most adjective endings:
Either -e or -en
-en => plurals, dative IO, singular masculine akkusative DO
-e => the rest (singular nominatives, fem. and ntr. akkusative DO)
Ordinal number rule:
e.g. second, eighteenth, thirty-fifth, hundredth
Before 20th add a -t
After 20th add -st
zum beispiel: zweit, achtzehnt, funfunddreissigst, hundertst
Irregular ordinal numbers:
first, third, seventh,eight
