What are signs of fungal keratitis for candida and filamentous?

A

Candida = Yellow/white infiltrate, ulceration, pus

Filamentous = Grey/White infiltrate, indistinct margins, ring shaped infiltrates

What is the management/treatment for fungal keratitis?

A
  • Corneal scrape with sterile swap
  • Cyclopegia
  • Antifungal agents (For candida = amphotericin, For filamentous = Netamycin)
  • Reduce topical steroids
