What causes Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSCR)?
A
An accumulation of fluid in sub-retinal space -> localised detachment of sensory retina at macula.

What are the symptoms for a px with CSCR?
A
- Unilateral blurred vision, recent onset
- Positive scotoma
- Metamorphopsia
- Micropsia
- Painless
- Affects: Males 30-50, Type A personality, Steroid users.

What are the signs of CSCR?
A
- Round oval dome shaped retinal elevation at macula
- VA 6/9-6/18
- Hyperopic shift
- No blood or exudates (differentiate from CNV)

What is the management for CSCR?
A
URGENT Referral
Monitor Recovery
Address stress, steroid use etc.
