Q

What do the Pressure Tranducers do?

A

Monitor pressure on each fuel feeding line and transmit the information to the MAU’s

Q

Regarding the pressure tranducers what happens if the SOV is OFF?

A

No pressure signal is sent by the pressure tranducers - because they come after the SOV in the system

8
Q

If secondary fuel probe is in failure will the LOW LEVEL warning still actuate?

A

YES. The 92 KG sensor is independent from the second fuel probe

16
Q

What does it mean when one of the readouts on the Fuel Quantity gauge turns GREY?

A

That tank can NO LONGER supply fuel because the boost pumpt is inop and the fuel level is below the L line of 228 kg

17
Q

How can you use the unusable fuel in the tank indicated with the GREY fuel quantity value?

A

CLOSE the X-FEED

18
Q

What Ng is required for the Fuel Flow data to be displayed on the MFD?

A

> 62% Ng

19
Q

Where is the data for the Fuel Flow computations derived?

A

EEC, ADS (TAS)

20
Q

Where can FUEL test be carried out?

A

ONLY on the GROUND

21
Q

What does “1(2) FUEL PUMP” Caution mean?

A

Associated fuel pressure low (Less than 0.6 bar), Goes out when pressure above 0.7 bar

22
Q

What does “1-2 FUEL PUMP” Caution mean?

A

Fuel pressure low (less than 0.6 bar) in both fuel systems

23
Q

At What fuel amount does the fuel quantity readout turn grey?

A
  • XFEED -> open - 1(2) fuel pump caution active AND - 1(2) fuel quantity < 228 kg
24
Q

What is the design purpose for the 228KG capacity that can’t be transferred?

A

Each tank retains a maximum of about 228 kg that cannot be transferred to the other tank: this permits a suitable amount of fuel to be saved in case of rupture of one of the tanks.
