Where are the fire extinguishers located?

What type are the fire extinguishers and do they work?
0.7 kg halon. Displaces oxygen from the air, it has no cooling ability. Consider venting the cabin as it can become toxic when exposed to the heat.
Can be used on most fires, solid materials, liquids, gases and electrical fires. May react with metals (sodium, magnesium and lithium)
What is the type of fixed ELT (short nose)?
Artex C406 in the tail. 121.5, 243 and 406 with GPS position and a/c ID on 406. 12 g sensor or manual operation with the use of a pilot switch.
How does the CPI work and what are the limitations?
121.5 and 406
Ways to activate:
- Automatic as a crash sensor (acceleration). ‘BEACON GONE’ illuminates, ‘TX/TEXT’ will flash and an audio tone is heard.
- Automatic as a water sensor (acceleration). ‘BEACON GONE’ illuminates, ‘TX/TEXT’ will flash and an audio tone is heard.
- Manual activation via the beacon transmitter via the control panel.
- Manual activation of the beacon transmitter and release of the beacon on the control panel.
Should not be deployed above 200’ AGL.

2 of 4 water sensors or by manual operation
How are the lift rafts deployed?
- Remote handle mounted on the pilot/co-pilot forward door frame

What is the capability of the life raft PLB?
121.5, 243 406, ID, talk function.
How many emergency exits are there?
- Emergency push-out windows.
How do you exit the cockpit emergency exits?
Pull the red strap and pull the sealing cord. PULL IN window and eject out the opening.
How do you exit the cabin emergency exits?
Pull the red strap and pull the sealing cord. PUCH OUT the window (bottom corner).
After ditching, which VHF com should be used if required?
Com 1 as com 2 is under the water
Explain HEELS operation.
5 luminescent strip lights on each emergency exit window. 4 curved for corners and 1 straight strip for the pull-out strip.
5 independent batteries, one for the windows in each cabin and cockpit doors and one for the 2 fixed windows.
10 water-activated sensors, 2 sensors for each door (upper and lower) and 2 for the fixed windows.
Activated by the water sensors.
When should survival suits be worn?
water temp < 15
air temp < 10
or combined < 31

What are the symptoms of hypoxia?
The order of symptoms varies among individuals: increased breathing rate, headache, lightheadedness, dizziness, tingling or warm sensations, sweating, poor coordination, impaired judgment, tunnel vision, and euphoria.
