AW 139 Landing Gear Flashcards
If the EMER LDG PRESS caution is lit:
a. Lower landing gear using normal procedure
If landing gears fail to raise:
Cycle Landing Gear Control Lever UP and DOWN
Maximun speed for landing gears extension is:
150 Kts
If, after selecting landing gear normal extension, the three indicators light on the Landing Gear Control Panel show different status:
Check landing gear circuit breakers
When Landing Gear Control Lever is selected UP:
Pressure is provided to P/R actuators first
When the helicopter is on ground with the engine running following an emergency landing gears extension:
R/A and P/R actuators are de-pressurized
In case of loss of electrical power with the landing gears retracted:
The landing gears fall by their own weight
MLG and NLG actuators are:
Locked when landing gears are extended
When Landing Gear Control Lever is selected UP:
The retraction procedure start only if NLG is locked in center position
At the end of helicopter towing:
The nose wheel center lock must be manually engaged by rotating the center lock lever horizontally with the nose wheel aligned in the fore and aft position
Before towing the helicopter it´s required:
The nose wheel center lock must be disengaged by selecting UNLOCK, on the push-button in the LGCP in the cockpit and then rotating the center lock lever to the vertical position
Parking brake handle is reset by:
Rotate handle and push left pedal brake
If the EMER DOWN operation has been carried out:
A manual reset function is requested to restore the normal extension
When the amber legend UNLK on the Landing Gear Control Panel is lit:
Also a caution is displayed on the CAS message window for redundancy
The safety pin solenoid in the Landing Gear Control Panel is de-energized when the weight on wheels condition is active:
