Fraud by false representation
Section 2 of the Fraud Act 2006:
Makes a false representation dishonestly with intent to make a gain for himself or another, to cause loss to another or to expose another to risk of loss.
Fraud by failing to disclose information
Section 3 of the Fraud Act 2006:
Dishonestly and intentionally fails to disclose to another person information which he is under a legal duty to disclose, to make a gain for himself or another, to cause loss to another or to expose another to risk of loss.
Fraud by abuse of position
Section 4 of the Fraud Act 2006:
Occupies a position in which he is expected to safeguard, or not to act against, the financial interests of another person, dishonestly and intentionally abuses that position to make a gain for himself or another, to cause loss to another or to expose another to risk of loss.
Possession of articles for use in fraud
Section 6 of the Fraud Act 2006:
A person is guilty of an offence if he has in his possession or under his control any article for use in the course of or in connection with any fraud.
Obtaining services dishonestly
Section 11 of the Fraud Act 2006:
Obtaining services for himself or another dishonestly and knows that they are, or might be, being made available on the basis described but intends that payment will not be made, or will not be made in full.
