What is the law about site disturbance?
10 % of area can be disturbed within certain parameters is stable soils
5 % of area can be disturbed within certain parameters with sensitive soils
How can a company appeal charges?
Appeals are allowed at any time, but if companies can prove that they upheld due diligence to do everything possible to avoid a negative circumstance, they can be released from the charges or have them lowered.

Special investigations deals with trends on a regional scale where as complaint investigations focus on single complaints.
