Sex, age at death, age, height, etc.
How do we determine sex in adolescence?
Females grow faster than males
How do we determine sex from the pelvis?
The sciatic notch. 60° in women, 30° in men

Fetal (before birth), infant (0-3), child (3-12), adolescent (12-20), young adult (20-35), adult (35-50) and old adult (50+).
What plays the largest role in dental identification?
Fillings, caps and restorations
What are the five sides of a tooth?
Buccal (cheek), lingual (tongue), mesial (toward the body), distal (away from the body) and occlusal surface.
What is positive identification?
Individualising a set of remains.
What are the four manners of death?
Natural, accidental, homocide and suicide
What is taphonomy?
The study of what happens to an organism between the time of death and when it enters a lab.
