With OAT in excess of 25°C, the Windshield Heat should
remain OFF until after takeoff (during the AFTER
TAKEOFF CHECKLIST). L(R) WSHLD HEAT and/or
L(R) WINDOW HEAT Amber Caution messages will be
on during the takeoff and may come on momentarily when
selecting them to the LOW position

Anti Skid Test

Parking Brake ………………..OFF
Anti Skid Test Switch……..Hold at test
Verify the following:
• Both master cautions, single chime
And the following Amber Caution messages:
• A/SKID OUTBD
• A/SKID INBD
ANTI-SKID TEST switch ……………..Release
Amber Caution messages disappear after 6 seconds.
This test will be performed while holding toe pressure on the brake pedals. Wait for the A/SKID INBD
and A/SKID OUTBD Amber Caution messages to disappear before selecting the parking brake ON.
Parking Brake………………………………… ON

Question 3

Before Start Flow

push back clearance or cleared to start engines

• Using the AC and DC electrical synoptic pages, the
Captain verifies:
— All buses are powered
— The loads, voltages and frequencies are within
     normal ranges
— The flow lines are green
— External electrics are selected off and
    disconnected
— No abnormal messages are displayed

Fuel Check Valve

Verify:
• Both master cautions, single chime
And the following Amber Caution messages:
• L FUEL PUMP
• R FUEL PUMP
• R FUEL LO PRESS

• Green APR icons are displayed in the center of both N1 gauges
