Where is groundspeed displayed?
- Top left corner of the ADI
- On the FMS, POS REF page
Where is true airspeed displayed?
- TAS/SAT indicator

If the MCP VOR/DME switch is in the MAN mode, what will cause the switch to return to AUTO?
Moving the EFIS control panel HSI mode selector from MAP to all positions except PLAN, then returning to MAP.
What do stations displayed in green on the HSI map display represent?
Stations that are either being auto tuned or have been manually tuned using the VOR/DME control panel.
How do you display DME from a localizer?
Place EFIS control panel in APP or ILS full/expanded mode and read the LOC DME on the RDMI - represented by the letter L, or reference ILS DME in HSI.
Where is the only place an ILS frequency can be manually tuned?
ILS control panel
What is the VNAV vertical deviation scale range?
+/- 400ft
What is the source for attitude information on the standby ADI?
Self contained.
What does the Pitch Limit Indicator do?
Indicates pitch limit (stick shaker activation point for the existing flight conditions).
How are inoperative flight instruments marked?
Flags
What are the ADI indications displayed during excessive glide slope and localizer deviation?
Indication turns amber and flashes
Where on the ADI are references for airspeed? (Fast/slow indicator)
Left side of the ADI
Be able to identify aircraft heading looking at various HSI displays.
Look for the heading pointer. (Remember “track up” vs North Up)
Where are wind direction and speed displayed?
Bottom left corner of HSI (map display)
What does the altitude range “green” arc indicate during a climb or descent?
Predicts where the aircraft will reach MCP selected altitude and considers ground speed and vertical speed when doing so.
