How are the elevators and horizontal stabilizers actuated
A
The elevators are mechanically actuated in the horizontal stabilizers electrically positioned through the pitch trim system

What is the purpose of the elevator spring and servo tabs?
A
To ease control pressure by deflecting in the opposite direction to the elevators, the spring tabs move proportionally to control column force, helping at high speeds in the servo tabs, move proportionally to elevator deflection helping at lower speeds

What are the two main components of the pitch trim system?
A
The horizontal stabilizer control unit HSCU and the horizontal, stabilizer actuator HSA
